Free Credit Monitoring with Credit Karma for Thousandaires

If there’s one thing I know about Thousandaires, it’s that we like free stuff!

It doesn’t matter whether it’s something as expensive as a free vacation or as little as free food on your birthday. We love free stuff!

One of my favorite free things is Credit Karma, where you can check your credit score without paying a single penny. Then it got even better by telling you your chances of getting approved for a credit card. Now they are in beta testing for another new Credit Monitoring feature, and they have opened up a few of the beta testing slots to Thousandaire readers!

Credit Monitoring with Credit Karma

Credit Karma is introducing a new credit monitoring service where they will email you when there is a change on your credit report. If you apply for a new credit card, you’ll get an email. If you change your address, you’ll get an email. If someone else tries to fraudulently apply for a line of credit under your name and social security number, they will send an email for that too.

They take all of the work out of monitoring your credit report; all you have to do is check your email (which you probably do every day anyway unless you are an old computer illiterate fart).

The one thing I don’t love about the service is that it appears to only check your TransUnion credit report (just like the credit score service only gives your TransUnion score). There are certain instances where the three credit bureaus aren’t always on the same page, and TransUnion might miss a fraudulent inquiry. This is a minor inconvenience, but I still think the service is worth the price of absolutely free!

Credit Karma Beta Invites

I had so much fun giving out Google+ invites that I’ve decided to give out more exclusive memberships. Credit Karma was nice enough to offer me and 99 of my readers a first look at this program. If you want free credit monitoring, all you have to do is click this link. If you already have a Credit Karma account, just login and you’ll add this service to your account. If you don’t have an account yet, I highly recommend signing up to get this credit monitoring offer as well as a free credit score updated as often as you like.

Finally, I think it’s important that I clarify that I’m not getting paid for this post. I truly love the Credit Karma service, and I am excited to provide my readers with a sneak peek into a really great program. If you want to participate, great! If you don’t, that’s awesome too. I’m getting paid $0 for this article no matter what.

Once again, click this link to get signed up. A limited number of other, bigger websites have been given invites, and Slick Deals has already burned through 5,000 invites. These invitations are going fast around the web, so get in while you can. They only gave me 100 invites, and I used two for me and Tag. There are 98 left. Get one before they run out!

And don’t say I never gave you anything!
