Thank You FB!

Yesterday was by far the best day in my short blogging career, and I had to do something to say thank you.

FB at Fabulously Broke gave me some blog love and sent a bunch of her readers my way. So many, in fact, that I had over four times more visits to my site yesterday than I’ve ever had before.

After Fabulously Broke
Either my writing got four times better overnight, or I got a little help from a friend. I’ll let you decide

I know what you’re thinking: “How can blog love from one site more than quadruple your historical best view count in a single day? Aren’t you the best, most awesomest and famous blogger in the whole world?” Well, actually FB is an amazing blogger and has a pretty big following, while I’m still pretty much brand spankin’ new!

Fabulously Broke was in $60,000 of student loan debt and climbed out within two years. She’s smart with her money but she doesn’t hesitate to spend it on things that are truly worth it. She still maintains Fabulously Broke even though she’s not broke anymore, and she has a second blog called The Everyday Minimalist. Both blogs are great, and if she looks anything like her cartoon likeness then she’s one hot tamale.

I also need to send another big thank you to meinmillions for the blog love she sent me on Thursday morning. If you look back at the chart, you’ll notice Thursday was a huge day compared to the rest of the previous days, and I owe a lot of that to her. Plus she thinks I’m cute!

Daily Yakezie: Got a chuckle from Thousandaire’s confession of being cheap.  Bonus, he’s kind of cute.  Blog crush… maybe?

So basically, I have two HOT blogger chicks sending readers my way, and I love it!

Finally, one more big thank you to everyone who reads my blog. I love you all more than I love my Roth IRA. Trust me, that is a lot! So please keep on reading, tell your friends, and if there’s something you want to see on my blog just hit me up on my twitter account and I’ll do my best to make it happen. Plus, if you send hundreds of readers my way there’s a chance I’ll write you a song. (no guarantees)

Have a great weekend thousandaires!

OMG. This is like the best way to say thank you, EVER.

I only wish I wasn’t Anonymous the way you are. I am going to live vicariously through you instead 😉

Glad my blog sent tons of people your way. Just trying to pass on the love, peace and happiness!!!

  2. Awe, that song was too cute. I’m totally digging your blogging style. I’m just sad I can’t play the guitar now. 😛

  3. @Serendipity – I actually only use four chords in the song. I bet you could learn to do what I did there in a few days. Don’t tell anyone, but I’m actually not a very talented guitarist… shhhhhh
@CityFlips – I’ll keep making you laugh and you keep commenting and letting me know I’m doing it right!

    Kevin,

Who knew that YOU were such a hot tamale! I’ll be visiting more often. now that I have some eye candy. Just saying.

  5. @Kevin That’s a hot mess Kevin! You should not be telling all of us personal finance chicks you aren’t a professional guitar player! 😛 J/K I really just want to learn how to play the Greg Brady song on the guitar. The whole “Clouds never laughed before” one. 🙂

  6. @Sandy – I’ll take readers however I can get them 😉
@Serendipity – I’d never heard that song before. I’ll have to keep it in mind for one of my next parodies 🙂

You would have to actual sit through the Brady Bunch movie to actually enjoy the funniness of it.

    1. The rap is coming along, although I’ve already written my part and I haven’t mentioned Yakezie. I don’t know if Ninja is going to mention the Yakezie network, but I will definitely have to put my creative juices at work to make something for Yakezie soon!
